About
burnboard.fun is a public leaderboard where crypto projects buy their rank. No algorithm, no votes, no editor — the board is ordered by exactly one thing: total SOL bid on a token. Bid more, rank higher. That's the whole product.
The twist is where the money goes. Every bid is split the moment it lands: 20% runs the board, and 80% market-buys and burns it — permanently, with a public receipt for every single burn. The board is the product and the burn engine. Rank is attention; attention makes scarcer.

Why the burn is real
Most "we'll use fees to buy and burn" projects run the buyback from a wallet somebody controls. Here the split is enforced by the program itself:
- The 20/80 ratio is a compile-time constant — there is no admin knob.
- The 80% sits in a program vault with no withdraw function. The only instruction that can move it swaps for and burns the proceeds in the same transaction.
- The burn token and the swap venue are fixed at initialization and have no setter.
- The operational keys are deliberately weak: the admin can pause bidding and tune minimums; the keeper only chooses when burns run. Neither can touch escrowed SOL, redirect a burn, or change the split.
Everything on this board is reconstructable from on-chain data — totals, timestamps, burns, treasury takings — so anyone can audit the whole history without trusting this website.
